As we get started today I would like to say a word of thanks to all of you that have been faithful followers of this blog till this far. I understand that it is not easy to get connected to some one that you you do not know very well.
There many few preliminary steps that we have looked at when we started looking at these great blogging learning experience. To those it their first time to be here we have looked at Niche Selection and Keyword Research. If you really have missed these two I would encourage that you go back and read them first so that we are all on the same page as we continue. This will make sure that there is that great sense of fairness that you will all have as we processed.
Now it time that we got started and looking at something that will be our lesson today and that will be domain registration. Today we will look at this topic as detailed as we possibly can but also making sure that you are not bored reading. Taking this in consideration I will make sure that this will be straight to the point so that there will be nothing to miss for you:
What is a domain?
This will be what many are asking themselves right now. To answer this in the best possible I would like to say that it is a website name. Any website that you see online has what we call domain and this is what make it possible for you to locate all these websites. Domain names are like Amazon.com, Ebay.com, google.com, Yahoo.com. Hotmail.com and many more. Using these name you are able to get to all these respective sites online without fail. All these name are formed in format that will make sure that you can;
Easily remember them, avoid getting any domain names that will be difficult to remember by people that you might have shared these with. To fulfil these you will to get a domain name that will have few combination of words but very attractive. Domain names can be a combination of word or one word only as long as they are available at the time of looking for them.
They will also have to be unique not something that will be general unless if you are competing with someone only then will get domains that are related to your competitor’s website. We will now be taken to a point of looking at something that will not be ordinary but will be extra ordinary and unique.
Now that all this has been said we will are going to look at how we can get this domain name for our new website. Domain names can only be gotten through registration of desired domains at Domain register. We currently have many Domain registers but I will share two that I use and recommend and that is Godaddy and Namecheap. These have been in the market for long especially Godaddy with most of the big companies have register there Domains with.
For illustration we will go through domain registration steps with Godaddy so that you can see how it is done.
